Becca Summer 2010: Bombora Collection

For summer Becca's created a collection based around Australian surf culture, with retro shades of bright blue, peach, and gold. It's a much brighter collection than Becca usually presents and I'm a little bit thrilled about it. I don't normally wear bright makeup, but these seem very wearable and I like that they included cake liners rather than traditional eyeshadows, so they can be used wet or dry.

Skin

• Follow the Skin Perfecting Makeup System for sheer, natural and flawless skin, beginning with Mineral SPF Primer.

Cheeks

• Bring warmth to the face by swirling Lip & Cheek Crème in Bougainvillea from the Bombora Palette to the outer apples of the cheeks with Small Polishing Brush #56.
• Cast illuminating light onto the face by dabbing Highlighting Crème in Mazu from the Bombora Palette along the cheekbones and temples.

Eyes

• Using Multi Use Crème Brush #59, lightly apply a sheer layer of Highlighting Crème in Mazu from the Bombora Palette to the lids.
• Blend Compact Eyeliner in Sunburst to the inner corners of the eyelids using fingertips or Eye Crème Brush #31.
• Line the top and bottom lash-line with the black side of Line and Illuminate Pencil in Ibiza.
• For a retro pop of colour, wet the liner brush included in the palette and draw a thin line of Compact Eyeliner in Raffia to the upper lash-line.
• Coat top and bottom lashes with one lashing of Ultimate Mascara in Black.

Lips

• Dab lips with Beach Tint in Pink Grapefruit, then apply a coat of Sheer Tint Lip Colour in Leticia.
• Top with Lip Gloss in Mai Tai from the Bombora Palette.

The Bombora collection is already available in Australia and the UK, but I have yet to find it in the US - I am diligently looking though.
